I have heard that the Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott,
might announce his decision on the planning application for
an asylum centre at Bicester during the course of this month.
This is important
in relation to the Daedalus campaign because it will reveal
the advice given by the Inspector at the Public
Inquiry at Bicester, in addition to the Government’s
response to that advice.
Peter’s comment: “Obviously I am watching the
situation very carefully. I am learning all I can from the
MPs at Bicester and Newton, which are the two sites identified
by the Government for the possible development of accommodation
centres”. |
