Peter Viggers, MP for the Gosport constituency, has paid
tribute to Sir Denis Thatcher, who died yesterday.
Peter said, “I
was deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Sir
Denis. He was a remarkable man who made
a tremendous impression on the people he met, and his visits
to the constituency alongside Lady Thatcher were always warmly
welcomed.
“He was
always incredibly supportive of Lady Thatcher, not only
during her political career, but throughout their
life together.
Sir Denis will be
greatly missed.” |
