The
next meeting of the ‘The Network’ business lunch
group will be held at 167 Stoke Road on Friday 28 November
at 1.00pm.
Local MP, Peter Viggers, set up the group last year to provide
an opportunity for local business people to meet over a sandwich
at lunchtime.
Peter said, “I am aware of the tremendous demands
that business people have upon their time. ‘The Network’ provides
an opportunity for local businesses to promote their services,
but aims to ensure that everyone will be back at their desks
within an hour.
“At each meeting, those attending are allowed up to
60 seconds to give an outline of their business and promote
their services. We also have a guest speaker which on this
occasion will be George Godliman, owner of Fortek Ltd. Based
in Gosport, George’s company develops computer programmes
for governments and other organisations world wide, and it
should be a fascinating meeting”.
