The
Home Secretary, David Blunkett, has failed to reply to Priority
Questions relating to the enquiry by Sir Alan Budd into the
Home Secretary’s conduct. The Home Secretary has replied
to four Questions by Peter Viggers, MP for Gosport, by saying: “I
will reply as soon as possible”.
Peter Viggers said today:
“I have put down a further Priority Question for answer
on Thursday asking the Home Secretary to explain the reasons
why he has been unable to give a definitive reply to the
four Questions due for answer today. Some of the Questions
are quite simple, such as who will reimburse Sir Alan Budd’s
expenses. It is disappointing that it is necessary to pursue
the matter further in this way”. |
