After
press comment that I was in hospital many kind people have
expressed an interest and it may be helpful for me to make
a statement.
At
a charity lunch on Sunday, I felt chest pain. There were
quite a few doctors around and the consensus was that I
should go to hospital.
After
24 hours of extensive tests at the Queen Alexandra Hospital
in Cosham, I have been discharged with no sign of any heart
defect.
I
am very grateful to the doctors, nurses and other staff
at QA. They were under a lot of pressure but showed great
competence, efficiency and good humour.
